Surcaps
Cincinnati Opera presents projected English surcaps above the stage and on monitors throughout the auditorium at every performance.

Accessible Seating

Accessible seating is available throughout the Music Hall auditorium. To make advance arrangements for accessible/wheelchair seating locations, please call our box office at (513) 241-2742 and our ticketing specialists will be happy to assist you.

Accessible Parking and Assistance for People Using Wheelchairs
With renovations now underway on the new Washington Park along with construction on the new underground parking garage across the street from Music Hall, the parking lot formerly located at the corner of Elm and 14th Streets is no longer available for Cincinnati Opera patrons.

Entrance assistance for people with special needs and people using wheelchairs is available at all Cincinnati Opera performances. Drivers may pull up directly in front of Music Hall near the ramp area (located next to the box office) and ask a police officer on duty to radio the Music Hall staff. A Music Hall assistant will come to the car and will accompany patrons with special needs into the hall. Drivers may then park in a nearby lot.

Additional accessible spots are available in the Town Center Garage (also known as the CET garage, behind Music Hall) and in nearby parking lots. Also, complimentary, ADA-compliant shuttles will run to and from the Court Street Center lot (corner of Court and Elm Streets) before and after each performance. Each shuttle can accommodate up to two wheelchairs per trip. Please visit our Parking information page for more details.

Accessible Restrooms
Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the first floor in the south corridor (west of the concession stand and through the door to the backstage access area). On the second floor, they are located through the doors opposite the escalators.

Audio Description
Live descriptions of the stage action for people who are visually-impaired are available at all performances. Units are available at the coat room in the south end of the lobby of Music Hall.

Assistive Listening System
A wireless FM transmitter for people with hearing-impairments may be obtained at the lobby coat room, near the south foyer.
