This is my second go at this role. I sang Elisabetta for Opera Company of Philadelphia a few years ago.

The Freedom Center and how Cincinnati is developing the water front.

What is a favorite role you have sung and why?
Leonora in La Forza del Destino. She is a character unlike any other I have portrayed because she literally prays without ceasing. Regardless of how things went, she was dedicated to her relationship with her God and the love of her life. She was willing to take a vow of hermitage and kept praying that things would work out. She never lost her faith.
What is your dream role?
Being a wife and mother because it seems like it’s going to only be a dream.

Mosaic on the Albany Records label - a collection of spirituals with piano and guitar.
If you weren’t an opera singer, what would be your dream job?
Make-up artist
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you during your career?
When I sang Amelia in Un Ballo in Maschera at Teatro La Fenice, it was my first Amelia. I was totally in costume and had to use the bathroom right before I was to go on stage. It was impossible to get the costume off and back on in the time I had. So thinking I had cleared the way for everything to come out all right, I suddenly felt a warm sensation all over and down my leg. No one knew - but I did! And, now you all know.
What other style(s) of music do you sing besides opera?
A variation on gospel.
